New data from the 2024 Crime in Kentucky report by Kentucky State Police shows 94 arrests for driving under the influence were made in Russell County last year.
Looking at other neighboring counties, Pulaski led the area with 259 DUI arrests last year.
Casey County reported 132 DUI arrests and Adair County reported 106.
90 DUI arrests were reported in Cumberland County and 87 in Clinton County.
Wayne County reported the fewest DUI arrests among neighboring counties with 81.
The number of DUI arrests locally was down from 2023, when 118 arrests were reported. However, the number was up from 2022, when 76 arrests were reported.
