After the pursuit ended, deputies found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia inside a box in the vehicle.

Cowan is charged with fleeing or evading police first degree, trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in marijuana, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, speeding 26 miles per hour or more over the limit, and multiple other violations.

Gibson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.
