Two people were injured following a three-vehicle collision on Lakeway Drive yesterday afternoon.
The wreck occurred at around 1:40 yesterday afternoon on Lakeway Drive near Cooper Chiropractic Center.
Details of what led to the accident are unclear, but WJRS News is told one vehicle was operated by 16-year-old Jace Scaggs of Russell Springs and another was operated by 60-year-old Stephen Rooks of Columbia.
Rooks was taken by ambulance to Russell County Hospital for treatment of injuries. Scaggs was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Both were treated and released.
A third vehicle, a Chevy truck operated by 66-year-old Denver Darnell, was also involved in the collision, but Darnell was not injured.
The accident is under investigation by Russell Springs Police.
