Local law enforcement agencies are investigating multiple vandalism complaints in different areas of the county.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, and Russell Springs Police Department are investigating these complaints.
The vandalism incidents took place sometime between last night and this morning. Two different buildings in the Bernard Ridge area were vandalized, as well as Tractor Supply in Russell Springs and the entrance sign to the Sonny’s Landing subdivision in Jamestown.
The sheriff’s office said the suspect was spotted on surveillance camera riding a bicycle on Bernard Ridge last night. They’re asking anyone who may have seen an individual purchasing black spray paint while riding a bicycle over the weekend to contact law enforcement.
