Lakefest Schedule Released

The annual Lakefest celebration is just a few weeks away, and organizers have released the schedule for this year’s festivities.

Events will get underway on Friday, July 4, with pageants and Triple Crown Wrestling.

Festivities continue on Saturday with the annual Breakfast in the Park, opening ceremonies, and the Mike Hill 5K and 10K runs.

Saturday’s events also include a pet show, children’s games, patriotic parade, talent show, karaoke in the park, and The Mike Valentine Show.

Saturday evening’s entertainment will feature Marty Brown, Alabama Tribute Boys in the Band, Second Helping, The American Lynyrd Skynyrd Show.

The night will conclude with a fireworks display.
