The Kentucky Men’s Basketball team will be hosting a camp at Russell County High School tomorrow.
The camp has already reached its maximum registration, as 125 kids ages 7-17 will participate with Head Coach Mark Pope and the Wildcats.
Registration fees were waived for this camp. Pope spoke to WJRS and said it’s one way the team and program are looking to give back after the community was hit by a tornado last month.
Russell County High School Athletics Director Michael Carpenter said he expects members of the community to stop by, but asks that anyone not participating in the camp go to the top bleachers at Laker Gym.
The camp gets underway at 9:30 tomorrow and lasts until noon.
