A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at Russell County Hospital for the expansion project later this month.
The groundbreaking will take place on Monday, June 30 at 11 a.m.
The expansion will provide a new operating room, new emergency room, new equipment, a new front lobby registration space and new radiology department, among other improvements.
