The Jamestown City Council will meet in special session this evening at 6 p.m.
The council is expected to take up items including the first reading of the city’s 25-26 budget, as well as a second reading and vote on the city’s street specs ordinance.
The street specs ordinance states any new street taken into the city street system would be at least 14 feet wide for traffic. The previous ordinance stated a street should be 20 feet wide.
Tonight’s meeting will take place at Jamestown City Hall. It is open to the public. We’ll have more from the meeting on tomorrow’s local news.
