Jamestown Council approves change in street specifications

The Jamestown City Council met in special session last night, approving an ordinance that changes width requirements for city streets.

Mayor Regena Hinton spoke to WJRS News and said the change was made to more accurately reflect the width of many existing city streets.

The new ordinance reflecting that change was unanimously approved by the council.

The Jamestown City Council’s next regular monthly meeting will take place on Thursday, June 19.
