McGowan homers twice, but Lady Lakers fall to Wayne County

Rylen McGowan hit her third and fourth home runs of the season last night, but the Lady Lakers fell to Wayne County by a score of 14-3.

McGowan drove in all three runs as part of a 4-hit performance to lead Russell County. Camdin Cooper finished the night with a pair of hits as well.

The Lady Lakers are scheduled to be at home again tonight, as Russell County hosts Adair County. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.
