Russell Springs Economic Development Director Jeramy Coffey was on Community Conversation on WJRS yesterday. He said progress is continuing on the planned Shogun location.
Coffey received a letter from the Shogun owners last week. They said electric and plumbing plans have been submitted to the state. They also said they plan to begin seeking construction bids within the next two weeks.
Coffey provided an idea of what a timeline could look like moving forward.
Coffey said he and Mayor Eddie Thomas are in regular contact with the owners to discuss plans for the restaurant.
