Fallen Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joshua Phipps will be honored in May at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C.
His name will be etched into the memorial during a candlelight vigil held on May 13. The ceremony also involves reading the names of officers who were killed in the line of duty.
