Jamestown and Russell Springs fire crews were called out Saturday night at around 10:30 to a house fire in the Stephens Ridge area.
Fire crews were called to a home on Holt Drive with a report that a person could still be in the home. When crews arrived on scene, they found the person had escaped the burning home through a window. The person was taken to Russell County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
A total of 20 firefighters from Jamestown and Russell Springs worked to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were on scene for about three hours.
No other injuries were reported.
The fire is still under investigation by the Jamestown Fire Department.
