Branscum discusses bill aiming to lower driver’s license age to 15

A bill that would lower the age to apply for a driver’s permit in Kentucky from 16 to 15 continues to move forward in the state legislature.

State Representative Josh Branscum was on Community Conversation on WJRS yesterday. Branscum is a co-sponsor of the bill. He discussed the motive behind it.

The bill passed through the state house by an 86-13 vote. It is now in the Senate Transportation Committee.
