Winter Storm Watch Issued for the Area Thursday into Friday

Kentucky is under a Winter Storm Watch from late Thursday night through late Friday night.

The storm is expected to bring moderate to heavy snowfall, with 4 to 5 inches of accumulation anticipated in portions of the area.

This winter weather could cause hazardous road conditions. The Friday evening commute is likely to be impacted, with slick and dangerous travel expected.

Officials recommend monitoring weather updates and taking necessary precautions.
