Russell Springs City Council to meet this evening

The Russell Springs City Council will hold its first regular meeting of the new year this evening.

The council will hold a second reading and vote on an ordinance establishing regulations for medical cannabis in the city. The council will also hear updates from Fire Chief Bobby Johnson, Police Chief Bryan Shepard, City Clerk Christopher Ramsey, Economic Development Director Jeramy Coffey, and Mayor Eddie Thomas.

The council will meet at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Main Street.
