Lakers fall in 2A sectional championship to LaRue County

The Laker Basketball team fell to LaRue County in the 2A Section 4 championship on Saturday by a score of 83-68.

Four Lakers scored in double figures. Mayes Gosser led the scoring with 19, Maddox Shearer scored 17, Owen Loy scored 13, and Dylan Stanelle scored 11.

Gosser also finished with a team-high 11 rebounds.

The Lakers are set to return to action tomorrow, weather pending, as they are scheduled to travel to East Jessamine.
