A Somerset man was arrested and faces multiple charges after he allegedly held a woman at gunpoint when she came to his residence to purchase items listed on Facebook Marketplace.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened in October. Deputies responded to a home on Providence Road after a woman called dispatch saying that her sister called her and she heard screaming.
When deputies arrived, a woman ran out of the residence to the deputies and said she had been held there since the previous night after a man, identified as 48-year-old Charles Hendrix, accused her of stealing his wallet and held her at gunpoint, refusing to allow her to leave.
Hendrix was not at the residence when law enforcement arrived, but an arrest warrant was issued.
Hendrix was located by the U.S. Marshall’s Service last week and arrested on charges of first-degree unlawful imprisonment and wanton endangerment first degree.
He was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center
