The Russell County Board of Education will meet in special session this morning.
The board is expected to take action on bids for the football field house and bus garage projects, as well as discuss track and field equipment and possible upgrades for the softball field.
The board will also discuss the school calendar for next school year, but no action will be taken on that topic.
The board will meet at 8 a.m. in the room above the pool at the Russell County ANC.
