Somerset man indicted on charges including human trafficking

A Somerset man was recently indicted on multiple charges including human trafficking following an investigation by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children office.

51-year-old Charles Eldon Richardson is facing two counts of human trafficking involving a victim under the age of 18, two counts of procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means; four counts of sexual abuse in the first degree with the victim being under the age of 12; three counts of promoting a sexual performance by a minor with a victim under 16, and one count of possession of or viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Richardson is already lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center after being indicted in May on a charge of sodomy in the first degree stemming from an alleged assault against a minor in 1997.

An indictment is a legal accusation.  It does not imply guilt or innocence.
