The Laker Football team returns to action tonight as they go on the road to Hodgenville for a matchup with LaRue County in the regular season finale.
The Lakers enter tonight’s matchup at 4-5 to take on the Hawks, who enter at 0-9.
Russell County enters tonight in a three-way tie with Wayne County and Taylor County in the district. All three teams are in action tonight, as Wayne County hosts North Laurel and Taylor County hosts Green County. The results of these games will have an impact on playoff seeding.
The most likely scenario is that Russell County will be the 4-seed and go on the road to face Corbin in the first round of the playoffs, but that could change if Taylor County and/or Wayne County loses tonight.
