Laker Wrestling competes in first tournament

The Laker Wrestling team competed in its first-ever tournament over the weekend, as 28 Russell County wrestlers competed at the Central Hardin Bruin Brawl Middle School Invitational.

The Lakers finished the day with 48 match wins, the 6th-most among 27 teams competing in the invitational.

The Lakers finished with 82 total team points, finishing 20th overall.
