Election board to begin opening absentee ballots tomorrow morning

The local election board will begin work tomorrow morning, opening and scanning absentee ballots.

Russell County Clerk Patti Glover recently spoke to WJRS News about a change in that process and reminds everyone the process is open to the public.

Glover reminds those interested in coming to the courtroom that they can only observe the process. They cannot participate, interfere, or cause disruptions.
