The Russell County Laker Football team came up short at home against Wayne County Friday night by a score of 30-21.
With the loss, the Lakers fall to 4-5 on the season and are now 2-2 in district play.
The Lakers are off this week, but will return to action next week where they will wrap up the regular season with a trip to Hodgenville to take on the LaRue County Hawks.
