The Russell County Laker Band is hitting the road this weekend, traveling to Chattanooga to compete in the Bands of America regional event.
The Laker Band will compete in the regional event at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, which will feature marching bands from across the country.
This is the second year in a row the Laker Band has competed in the event.
