The Russell County Sheriff’s Office responded to more than 500 911 calls last month.
That’s according to the latest monthly activity report from the sheriff’s office.
Last month, the sheriff’s office made 45 arrests, performed 52 traffic stops, and worked 23 traffic accidents.
The sheriff’s office also performed more than 100 vehicle inspections, served 69 court papers, and provided 2 mental health transports.
The sheriff’s office also performed 14 welfare checks, responded to 12 animal complaints, and 23 motorist assists.
