The Russell County Board of Education will meet in special session at 8:30 this morning.
The board typically would meet at 5 p.m. today, but board members will be attending a Kentucky School Boards Association regional meeting in Campbellsville this evening, prompting the change of meeting time.
The board is expected to authorize a purchase for new school buses, hear from the district’s career support specialist Mick Slone, approve a working budget, and discuss Safe Schools information.
The board will meet in Room 114 of the Russell County ANC.
