The Russell Springs City Council meeting scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled.
Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas released a statement this morning saying the meeting has been cancelled following the recent passing of council member Timmy Hudson’s daughter, Brandi.
Thomas said the mayor’s office, the council, and city employees offer their deepest condolences and support to Hudson and his family.
The city council meeting will be rescheduled to take place in the coming weeks. We’ll bring you the new date and time for the meeting when it is available from city hall.
