Russell Springs Police responded to more than 300 calls last month, according to the department’s latest activity report.
In the month of August, Russell Springs Police responded to 328 calls for service and made 30 arrests.
The department made 3 DUI arrests and 3 other alcohol-related arrests.
In total, the department has made 19 DUI arrests so far this year.
Russell Springs Police also performed 60 traffic stops, cited 41 traffic charges, and worked 12 traffic accidents.
That was the lowest number of traffic accidents worked since January, according to the report, and brings the total 137 on the year.
