Pulaski woman federally indicted on drug charges

A Pulaski County woman is facing a federal indictment on drug charges.

An investigation by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office resulted in a federal grand jury indicting 51-year-old Angela J. Simpson. She’s charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or More of a Methamphetamine Mixture.

If convicted, she faces anywhere from 5-40 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $5 million.

Simpson was arrested in March after a search of her home revealed a variety of drugs, firearms, and cash.
