Liberty woman arrested locally on drug charges

A Liberty woman was arrested locally on Friday on drug charges.

According to reports, 36-year-old Dixie Turpin of Liberty was arrested Friday by the Russell Springs Police Department and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.

Turpin was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
