Russell Springs man flown out following Saturday night wreck

A Russell Springs man was flown out following a single-vehicle wreck on East Highway 80 near the Fonthill intersection.

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred just after 8:30 Saturday night when 53-year-old Robbie Brown of Russell Springs was operating a 2002 Ford pickup westbound on East 80 near the Fonthill intersection and wrecked.

Brown was flown to the University of Kentucky for treatment of unknown injuries.

The sheriff’s office was assisted on scene by the Eli Fire Department and Russell County EMS.
