Russell County teams victorious last night across multiple sports

Last night saw multiple victories for Russell County Athletics.

The Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball team went on the road for a district matchup at Monroe County, where the Lady Lakers came away with a decisive 3-0 victory for their first district win of the season.

The Lady Lakers will be back at home tomorrow for a district matchup with Clinton County.

The Laker Soccer team was also on the road yesterday, traveling to Allen County-Scottsville, where they came away with a 6-1 victory over the Patriots.

The Lakers will also be back in action tomorrow, going on the road for a matchup with Barren County.

The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Basketball teams picked up three big wins over Hart County at home last night.

The 6th grade team won 26-4, while 7th grade won 35-23 and 8th grade capped the night with a 40-23 win.

The Lady Lakers will go on the road tomorrow to take on Campbellsville.
