A single-vehicle wreck Wednesday night near the Russell County/Casey County line on Highway 127 is reportedly under investigation by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office.
WJRS News has learned that a Chevy Cobalt containing two individuals was traveling north on Highway 127 near the 7000 block just before 9 p.m. Wednesday and left the roadway, causing the vehicle to flip.
One of the occupants of the vehicle was flown out. The status of the second person is unknown, but the second person was not flown out.
The Russell Springs Fire Department and Russell County EMS also responded to the scene.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the collision.
