The Russell County Board of Education will meet at noon today for its annual end-of-fiscal-year meeting.
The board is expected to discuss preliminary designs for a canopy for the ANC/Middle School area, along with a second reading and vote on the district’s policies and procedures, which includes prohibiting the use of medicinal cannabis in schools.
The board will also go into executive session for an evaluation of the superintendent, which will be presented when the board returns to open session.
The board will meet in Room 114 of the Russell County ANC. The meeting is open to the public.
