The Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire on Alexander Drive Sunday afternoon.
According to Fire Chief Bobby Johnson, the fire department was called out to an outbuilding on fire at 186 Alexander Drive just before 2:45 Sunday afternoon.
When firefighters arrived, the building was totally involved with flames, but fire crews were able to contain the fire to the building and keep it from spreading on the property.
Seven firefighters responded and were on scene for about two hours.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
