A Nancy man was arrested and is facing multiple charges after police found more than 500 grams of marijuana in his home, along with a dozen firearms and more than $8,000 in cash.
According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Bobby Burton Jr. was arrested last week and is facing charges of trafficking in marijuana (enhanced with firearms), possession of methamphetamine, cultivating marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies were initially called out to the residence last month after a 911 call where someone stated they heard gunshots from a nearby house, heard screaming and then a vehicle left at a rapid pace.
Nobody was at the residence but deputies entered due to safety concerns based on the 911 call. Inside, deputies found more than 500 grams of marijuana, a small amount of meth, 12 firearms, more than $8,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia, and two growing marijuana plants.
Burton was arrested and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
