Lake Cumberland Head Start will receive $11,000 from the WHAS Crusade for Children.
This grant will be used to purchase sensory room equipment for children with special needs in the 10-county area, which includes Russell County.
Lake Cumberland Head Start provides programs for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old living in Russell, Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski,, Taylor, and Wayne counties.
