A Russell County grand jury indicted 10 individuals yesterday.
Those indicted included the following:
Jaywreye Phelps, age 30, housed at the Russell County Detention Center, indicted on a charge of second-degree assault.
Daniel N. Hammond, age 45, of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance third degree, and prescription substance not in proper container.
Mistie Collins, age 46, and Jordan W. Grant, age 27, both of Russell Springs, charged with possession of heroin.
Donald David McFarland, age 50, of Russell Springs, charged with criminal mischief first degree.
Joshua T. Wethington, age 26, of Russell Springs, charged with theft by unlawful taking $1,000 or more, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and being a persistent felony offender.
Christopher E. Jones, age 32, of Burnside, charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence third offense, driving on a DUI-suspended license first offense, ignition interlock device use violation, and failure to surrender a revoked operator’s license.
Corey Sheppard, age 23, charged with bail jumping first degree and being a persistent felony offender.
Jordan Wheat, age 28, of Liberty, charged with bail jumping first degree and being a persistent felony offender.
Kolby Conner, age 26, of Jamestown, charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance second degree.
