God’s Food Pantry, a local nonprofit that serves roughly 400 local families a month, is set to hold a groundbreaking for the organization’s new location today,
God’s Food Pantry is set to build a near 1,500 square foot facility across from the Senior Citizen’s Center on Brian Walters Drive, and a groundbreaking ceremony at the site is scheduled to take place at 9 this morning.
The public is invited to the groundbreaking ceremony.
God’s Food Pantry currently operates at its long-time location on Dan Street in Russell Springs. The new facility will be roughly three times the size of the current location, allowing the organization to continue meeting the needs of local families.
