A young Russell Springs woman escaped serious injury yesterday morning in a one vehicle accident near the Esto community.
Deputy Sheriff Dustin Bunch told WJRS Local News that 20 year old Ellie York was operating a 2007 Nissan Sentra on
highway 92 when she entered a left hand curve, dropped off the edge of the roadway, lost control, slid over a hill, before coming
to rest against some trees. Russell County EMS and the Jamestown Fire Department both responded to the scene, but York
was not injured.
