School board approves fellowship to help teachers

The Russell County Board of Education approved a program at last week’s board meeting aimed at supporting teachers in the district.

The new program is called the Leading Lakers Fellowship and WJRS News caught up with Superintendent Michael Ford to talk more about what it entails.

The Russell County Board of Education meets on the third Monday of each month at 5 p.m. at the Russell County ANC.
