The Russell County Fiscal Court received a clean audit report from the state auditor’s office.
Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts Allison Ball recently released the report from her office’s audit of the fiscal court for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2023.
Auditor Ball issued a release saying her office found no instances of noncompliance and no matters involving internal control over finance reporting that were considered material weaknesses.
State law requires annual audits of county fiscal courts.
