Each school in the Russell County School District will soon have its own Family Resource and Youth Services Center.

Superintendent Michael Ford announced at this week’s school board meeting the state approved the school district’s reconfiguration plan for its family resource and youth services centers.

Ford spoke to WJRS News about the announcement.

Ford said this will be a great move for the school district to make sure the needs of families and students are being met.
