Busy Day for Jamestown Fire Department

It was a busy day for members of the Jamestown Fire department on Tuesday, as they responded to three different calls.

The fire department was dispatched just before 8:00 a.m. with the report of a one-vehicle accident on Highway 92 near the

Esto community.   Just before 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon, Jamestown firefighters were dispatched to Waterworks Road,

located just off the Boat Dock Road, to the report of a structure fire on the outside of a home.    Units on scene found damage to

the house from a previous fire but no no other problems at this location.    Then, last night, firefighters were dispatched

to Heartland Estates for the report of a vehicle fire.    A 2007 Kia Sedona van, owned by Tyler Fisher, received minor damage.

According to fire chief Jeff Landers, no injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
