The Foothills Academy in Clinton County is reported to be temporarily closed.
The Foothills Academy has been a licensed residential home for young men for more than 20 years, with a school that served as a public school within the Clinton County School District that served students in grades 6-12.
According to a report in the Clinton County News, the temporary closing of the Foothills Academy began last month following some hazardous incidents that occurred at the facility and heavy damage being done as a result.
According to the Clinton County News, there have been several incidents at the facility over the last several years.
As of now, there has been no word on when, or if, the facility will reopen.
