Bill would require policy that prevents cell phone use in classrooms

A bill making its way through the Kentucky House of Representatives would require school districts to have a cell phone policy that states phones are not allowed to be out during instructional time, with certain exceptions.

Most schools have cell phone policies in place, but supporters of the bill say this helps with enforcement of those policies.
