South Kentucky RECC has a new CEO.
Kevin Newton has been named the new executive of the local electric cooperative.
Newton has been with South Kentucky RECC for nearly 30 years, serving in a variety of roles, most recently as the interim CEO.
Newton assumed the leadership role as Interim CEO with South Kentucky RECC following the resignation of former CEO Ken Simmons, who had served the co-op as CEO since 2020.
