A Russell Springs man was arrested on burglary and theft charges over the weekend.
According to reports, 42-year-old James A. Melson was arrested and charged with burglary second degree and theft by unlawful taking between $500 and $1,000.
Melson was arrested by Kentucky State Police and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 3:45 Saturday afternoon.
