This winter storm has brought unusually cold temperatures and a few inches of snowfall to Russell and surrounding counties.
The winter storm presents challenges for businesses and individuals across the county. WJRS News caught up with Russell County Hospital CEO Scott Thompson to talk about how the hospital is handling the weather.
Overall, Thompson said the hospital is continuing business as usual as much as possible while trying to clear outdoor areas to keep employees and patients safe.
